Zynga launches cityville on Google plus
With 72 million users, Zynga now takes its title CityVille to Google’s social network, Google plus. On Monday, the social gaming giant announced that it will release CityVille on the social network Google Plus.
Zynga’s Social games are not exclusive to Facebook. Zynga, the leader in the online gaming sector has taken note of the success of Google plus, whose users have been multiplied from the time when Google plus became public. Zynga announced this morning that one of its most popular games, CityVille, which already has 72 million users, has come to Google +.
The announcement comes after weeks when Google take positions in one of the strategic areas of Facebook, by which they get huge profits.
Though, the ultimate social network showed no concern by this movement. Zynga will get additional great benefit from the deal, which will reduce its dependency on Facebook. Google +, in turn, takes advantage of the expertise of the company’s most influential moment in the design of social games and applications where users spend more time online.
With this strategic move to promote the propagation of CityVille, Zynga is getting more closer to its goal of “Changing the World through Games”.
