The iPhone 4S Has Been Jailbroken! [Video]
One of the worst consequences every time Apple faces after releasing a new product is the immediate release of Jailbreak, a way to install unauthorized software on Apple Products. And once again, the iPhone 4S has been Jailbroken.
The iPhone Dev-Team, who made Cydia, is responsible for an preliminary Jailbreak that works on both iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Now, the bad news is that the Jailbreak is in “very preliminary stage” and therefore have not yet released to the public. MuscelNerd, lead developer of iPhone Dev-Team tweets – “VERY preliminary 4S JB: http://twitpic.com/76vcp4 http://twitpic.com/76vct2 (Huge missing pieces prevent public release. LOTS of work left)”
Though, the hack for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 is taking a long, but on other occasions the hack was achieved much earlier. For instance, iOS 5 took just hours to be hacked after its introduction in June and installed on iPod Touch.
For now, the users who want to install unauthorized Apps on iOS 5 based Apple products will have to wait as the group of hackers responsible for the Jailbreak have still much work to do.
