Changes to Google Reader: New look, New Google+ features, and some Clean-up
Google has announced that next week they will roll out a series of changes in Google Reader. Google is going to launch a new design with this platform that will bring Reader and Google+ closer together, so users can share the best of feeds with just the right circles.

According to the official Google blog, this transformation improves the possibilities currently offered by Google Reader. For example, users can subscribe to through Google+ specific circles of readers, so that users can create their own publications and gain subscribers.
Because of these changes, Google will remove things like friending, following and shared link blogs inside of Reader.
On the other hand, there will be some extending Reader’s subscription export feature to include the following items – Subscriptions, Shared items, Friends, Likes, and Starred items.
