Apple Confirms iOS 5 Bugs Causing Battery Issues, Update coming in few weeks
Apple on Wednesday has officially confirmed the iPhone 4S Battery draining Issues which is due to iOS 5 Bugs in some devices and also promised that it would release a fix via software update in a few weeks.
Apple said in a statement to AllThingsD, “A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices. We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.”
Apple iPhone 4S has recorded a huge success in its sales. Recently, some iPhone 4S owners have reported that the device has suffered a drop of 10% each hour in standby mode, even after turning off location services and Siri.
According to Apple, this issue seems to affect only a small number of iPhone users, although Apple’s discussion forums are still receiving huge messages from owners who have similar problems. So far Apple has not disclosed any official advice to the issue, but we at TechPedias have found some unofficial fixes that might reduce fast draining to some extent.
